Through lived experience and trauma-informed insight, this training offers a heartfelt look at the emotional realities behind behaviors and equips caregivers with practical tools to build safety, trust, and lasting connection.
Under God's Pruning Hand
Healing happens as we faithfully do our part while trusting God with the outcome. Presented by a mother-and-son team (an adoptee and his adoptive parent), this session explores how God’s pruning removes fear and control, not to disengage us, but to keep us faithfully engaged. Participants will leave with practical tools and a clear framework for walking the healing journey together in trust and action.

It takes a village to raise a child, especially one who has experienced the challenges of foster care or adoption. This session equips friends, family, and faith communities to offer meaningful, trauma-informed support so families and children can heal, connect, and thrive together.
Into The Light
The topic of sexual abuse is often avoided, but it is perhaps one of the most significant issues being faced by many of our vulnerable children. Trent experienced extensive sexual abuse as a child and now speaks openly and honestly about his healing journey. This training will provide an informative and candid discussion of the realities of healing from sexual abuse. Practical strategies will be provided.
Battling The Invisible Enemy
Technology and/or pornography addiction is a pervasive issue facing children and teens today. This session is designed for adults with children or teens, but can also be presented to youth. This session will offer a real discussion regarding technology addiction and some practical solutions for families.
Unstuck By Grace
Pain from the past can shape how we think, feel, and our sense of identity, but God offers a path toward renewal. Through biblical insight, lived experience, and practical guidance, this session helps caregivers and individuals understand how healing from past wounds begins with transforming the mind. Participants will discover how grace can lead us from old ways of thinking into freedom, restoration, and a renewed view of the past.
