Watch Me Rise was born from a journey we never expected, but one that God has used to reveal His faithfulness, redemption, and healing.

Our family's story began through foster care. Like so many others, we stepped into this journey with open hearts, but quickly realized that love alone wasn't enough. Trauma, loss, grief, and broken trust had shaped the lives of the children we welcomed into our home, and we knew we needed more than good intentions. We needed understanding, practical tools, and the guidance of God.

As we learned, grew, and walked through both victories and challenges together, we experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of trauma-informed care rooted in biblical truth. Healing wasn't instant, but through safe relationships, intentional connection, and God's unwavering grace, we watched hope begin to replace fear.

Years later, Trent began sharing his own story, not only as an adoptee, but as someone who had experienced trauma and discovered that his past did not define his future. Together, our unique perspectives as an adoptive mother and an adoptee have become the foundation of Watch Me Rise.

Today, our ministry exists to equip foster, adoptive, and kinship families, churches, professionals, and organizations with the knowledge, encouragement, and practical support they need to help children and families heal. Through speaking, trauma-informed training, consultations, books, community, and church partnerships, we are committed to helping others create environments where healing can flourish.

Our name, Watch Me Rise, reflects the heart of our mission. We believe that no story is beyond God's redemption. We have seen children rise above trauma, families grow stronger, churches become places of belonging, and communities come together to support those who need it most.
